New Realm Distiller Savannah GA
New Realm Distilling has an immediate need for an experienced distiller to manage our highly automated distillery in the beautiful historic district of Savannah.
We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years experience distilling a wide variety of spirits, including vodka, rum, gin and whiskey. This position will also have creative opportunity for producing a wide range of unique spirits. A science related degree is preferred.

Essential duties:
- Maintain a safe operation, compliant with all OSHA, TTB and FDA requirements
- Operate a highly automated and efficient distillation system to produce Rum, Vodka, Gin and other spirits TBD
- Proof spirits and package for supply to our restaurants
- Brewing craft beer and wash for distillation on a 2 vessel, 3 bbl system
- Procure all ingredients required to produce our beers and spirits
- Innovation work on new spirits, beers and RTDs utilizing unique and innovative natural ingredients to maintain our products at the forefront of trends
- Work with the Supply Chain Director and COO to build, maintain and communicate production schedules and beer/spirits availability and inventory
- Develop and share production reports with COO and Supply Chain Director
- Execute all required TTB filings
- Develop written SOPs and train new employees
- Maintain a “Tour Ready” sanitary operation
- Promote our brand by participating in special events, tastings, and dinners
- Conduct tours as requested
- Schedule and perform necessary preventive maintenance and equipment repairs
- Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years distillation experience
- Food Science related degree with some distilling education preferred
- Some beer brewing experience
- Some supervisory experience
- Proven experience producing world class craft spirits
- Ability to work on feet for long periods, and lift 50-75 pounds regularly
