Rethinking Targeting Consumers: From Profile to Mindset

Thursday, July 23, 3:00 PM ET

Presented by: Jeremy Murrell, Morpheus Brand Consulting

Finding the right consumer is the key to unlocking brand growth. But consumers are more than demographics. They are people, driven by emotions, habits, values, and context. Brands that understand this and learn how to connect in a relevant, human way are far more likely to win. Using real-world examples from beverage alcohol and CPG, this session will explore how leading brands define and activate truly meaningful consumer targets. Attendees will learn a practical process for moving beyond age, income, and gender to build consumer profiles that capture motivations, behaviors, and needs, and that are far more effective at driving resonance, loyalty, and sales.

How Tourism Partnerships Can Grow Your Distillery

Wednesday, July 29, 3:00 PM ET

Presented by: Sara Sergent (Alpine Distilling), Alix Hoylman (J. Rieger & Co.), and David Weglarz (StilL 630 Distillery). Moderated by ACSA’s Director of Meetings and Events, Stephanie Sadri.

Your local Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) can be one of your strongest partners for attracting visitors, increasing tasting room traffic, and raising awareness of your distillery, but many distilleries aren’t taking full advantage of the resources available.

Join moderator Stephanie Sadri, ACSA’s Director of Meetings & Events, for a conversation with craft distillers who have successfully partnered with their local CVBs to grow their businesses. Together, they’ll share real-world experiences, practical strategies for building strong relationships with tourism organizations, and ideas for collaborating on events, marketing initiatives, and destination promotions.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to strengthen an existing relationship, you’ll leave with practical ideas and actionable tips to help your distillery become a must-visit destination in your community.

From Concept to the Shelf: A Case Study

Tuesday, August 4, 3:00 PM ET

Presented by: Joshua Berman, Punch Design Co.

Can you convey critically important feelings about your brand at a glance? Can you make a memorable impression in a crowded market? Can you become a brand that people love to display at home, bring or gift at a party, or even rep by purchasing apparel? Walking through a general brand strategy process, and the resulting brand assets and creative work, you will see where shelf presence comes from and how to build it for your own brand. In addition to useful creative assets, brand strategy also informs future campaigns, marketing strategies, and even D2C approaches. We will review a case study of a new, soon-to-open distillery and how we arrived at their brand and packaging design approach. Additionally, we will talk about the creative services industry and how to evaluate various providers. This webinar will be most useful for distilleries who: a) are in planning (even those without a name), b) have solid product but not yet found satisfactory market share, c) are planning new series, sub-brands or extensions, d) are considering entering an adjacent industry (RTDs, for example), or e) are looking to break into new markets. At the end, you should have an approach for how to assess your shelf presence and the steps to take to improve it.
