Mike Kandilas, Montana Department of Revenue
Mike has been with the Montana Liquor Distribution team for 4 years; he handles special orders and new products requests.
Montana is a controlled state so product ships to the state warehouse, and they deliver to the stores in the state weekly.
Mike enjoys working with the suppliers, and getting new products added in the state.
Abby Pendleton, Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority
Abby is the Product Acquisition Specialist at Virginia ABC, where she manages incoming products such as one-time buys and limited time offers, facilitates product lotteries and single barrel selections, and helps manage the listings process. Abby brings over nine years of experience with Virginia ABC, having held roles across Education and Prevention, Marketing, and now Product Management.
She began her career focusing on youth substance use prevention efforts before transitioning to the Marketing department, where she served as the Consumer Engagement & Digital Marketing Specialist. During that time, she also supported the product team as a member of the listings panel and helped facilitate limited availability product events. In the spring of 2025 Abby joined the product acquisition team where she works closely with suppliers to bring offerings to Virginia. She is a member of the Bourbon Women Association and was selected as a 2024 SIP Scholar. Abby is passionate about helping brands navigate the path to market and connecting them with the right opportunities to introduce their products to consumers.
Mark Roy, New Hampshire Liquor Commission
Mark is a 30 year industry veteran and the Division Director of Sales, Marketing, Merchandising & Distribution for the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission in Concord, New Hampshire. Mark has over three plus decades of beverage alcohol, retail sales, marketing and merchandising experience, consistently achieving results and growing the NH Liquor Commission’s customer base, sales and profitability through proactive and industry-savvy approaches. He’s a seasoned retail and merchandising expert with a demonstrated track record of success in retail store management, and comprehensive knowledge spanning purchasing, marketing, sales, and loss prevention. He has keen organizational skills, problem-solving, and decision-making and is dedicated to ensuring cost-effective, profitable business operations. He’s a proven marketing professional, consistently delivering strategic approaches that drive market growth and enhance bottom-line profitability.
