2026 Pre-Convention Distillery Tours

Kick off your time in Sacramento by stepping beyond the convention center and into Northern California’s vibrant craft spirits community. Before the ACSA 2026 Convention & Expo officially begins, choose from three curated distillery experiences designed to give you an insider’s perspective on standout producers shaping the region.

Whether you opt for a full-day immersion around Sacramento or a focused half-day visit to one of the pioneering California distilleries, each tour offers rare access, meaningful peer exchange, and a chance to see innovation in action up close and in context.

Space is limited and these experiences fill quickly, so reserve your spot early.

Please note: all attendees must complete general convention registration before adding a distillery tour. Once registered, you’ll be able to select your tour. Participation is limited to one (1) distillery tour per person.

Sacramento Distillery Tour

St. George Spirits (Half-Day Tour)

April 16, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM* | Alameda, California

Recognized as California’s oldest craft distillery, St. George Spirits has been a leading producer of the craft spirits movement. Using the eau de vie, or “water of life,” technique, the distillery has developed spirits like their St. George Single Malt Whiskey (Lot 25), Botanivore Gin, Pear Brandy, and many more. Located on the historic Alameda Naval Air Station, St. George’s 65,000-square-foot airplane hangar facility masterfully blends history, innovation, and a deep dedication to the craft.

Hinterhaus Distilling (Half-Day Tour)

April 16, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Arnold, California*

Named in honor of the hinterland at its doorstep in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the family-operated Hinterhaus Distilling crafts experimental spirits rooted in place. Each expression captures the region through natural ingredients and pure mountain water. Taking advantage of the high elevation and mountain terroir, the distillery has created award-winning products such as American Single Malt Whiskey Discovery, Calaveras Cask Finish Bourbon, and South Grove Gin. From the bottle design to the flavor profile, each spirit reveals a new detail about the Sierras.
