I don’t have a recommendation but I’d love to share with you what I’ve been told in the past:
First, shorter boots may be safer. If a tank of hot mash spills into your boots, the shorter they are, the less volume they’ll hold.
Second, and along the same lines, slip on boots may be a safer option (as long as they fit well) because they’re…[Read more]

Hi Jeff!
Thanks for replying. Koval and Corsair’s success with naming whiskies that have pseudocereals in them does give me some hope in the naming. Thanks again!

Hi Molly – I agree with the above answer. I would imagine you could get an approved label as Whiskey for that situation. The Standards of Identity don’t define grain, as far as I know. Red Wing Boots
I swear by them. I buy a new pair for all my production employees. They last forever and are well made. I think steel toe is a good default when working around forklifts and bigass totes/tanks.
Check them out here http://www.redwingshoes.com/footwear/filter-chemical-resistant
And yes, they are made in Minnesota.

I wear the men’s version of the deck boot most days and have a pair of the legacy boots with steel toes for when anything heavy is involved.Cheers,

Hello!
I have been wearing Dansko Rubber boots for work and am looking to change things up. I would really like to find mid-length water proof and chemical resistant boots for women. Does anyone have a good suggestion on wear to find some nice distillery work boots?
