As a member of the Toasts Not Tariffs Coalition, the American Craft Spirits Association this week joined 56 other beverage alcohol associations and guilds in sending a letter to President Trump urging swift action to secure a fair, reciprocal trade agreement with the European Union. The letter emphasizes the critical importance of tariff-free trade for the economic vitality of the beverage alcohol and hospitality industries, which collectively support more than 3.5 million U.S. jobs. With the holiday season approaching, the coalition is calling for leadership to protect American workers, businesses, and consumers from the long-term harm of retaliatory tariffs.
