Distillery of the Year winner, and one of the leading, independent American Single Malt Whiskey producers, Copperworks Distilling is seeking an experienced brewer or distiller to join our team and increase our production. Founded by brewers, and focusing on the flavors derived from malted barley, all of our products begin as a high-quality, craft-brewed beer (without hops) before being distilled into American Single Malt Whiskey, vodka, and gin.

As a qualified candidate, you should have professional experience in all phases of craft brewing. We can train you how to operate our custom built, Forsyths stills, but we’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience brewing beer and a real passion to explore how well-crafted beer turns into amazing spirits through distillation and barrel maturation.

You will perform multiple tasks within the production facility, all requiring great attention to detail, including daily distillery operations, cellar work, equipment support, bottling, proofing, blending, forklift and pallet jack use, and all other aspects of creating spirits in a clean, safe, and friendly environment.

You will report to our Head Distiller, and will participate in related administrative activities such as daily record keeping, safety meetings, quality control, inventory, and occasionally customer-facing activities, such as leading tours, tastings, and supporting off-site events.
