Distillery Packaging Tech - Rogue Ales and Spirits
The Distillery Packaging Tech operates the 4-head spirits filler that is used to package Rogue Spirits. The tech is responsible for the set-up, operation, and clean-up of the equipment. While packaging, the Tech is responsible for meeting quality and safety standards for the packaged goods. The Packaging tech reports any issues with packaging to the Distiller or Assistant Distiller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation, sanitation and use of counter pressure bottling machine
- Following purchase order lists to build orders with accuracy
- Hand-packing products and labeling correctly
- Adherence to all distillery Safety Procedures, including proper use of PPE at all times.
- Completion of all packaging documentation, and delivery to Distiller at end of shift
- Communicate maintenance needs to Supervisor in a timely manner
- Ensure packaging quality standards are always met
- Interpret and follow SOPs
