What?: This webinar will go over Bently’s approach to HR in the midst of Covid. While addressing some general HR information like laws, OSHA mandates, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, our speakers will also highlight specifically how they and their team have responded to the current environment and the changes that have come because of it. As Bently operates in two states (Nevada and California), their journey with Cal/OSHA will be highlighted, as well as standard operating procedures, the “Bently Way” of addressing sick time, precaution, travel policies, and COVID time, what they have learned about COVID vaccines and when policies should be encouraged vs. mandated.
Who?: Ingrid Wetzell, HR Director at Bently since April 2016
A native of the Dominican Republic, Ingrid Wetzell moved to the United States in the early 80s to study hotel and restaurant management. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and later graduated from the Executive Development program at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Over the course of her career, Ingrid has worked in the hospitality business as an assistant general manager and later as a human resources director; these positions took her to the states of New Jersey, New York City, and Washington DC. She later relocated to Lake Tahoe to pursue work in the gaming industry’s Human Resources sector.
Although Ingrid has over twenty years of experience in human resources, she is a well-rounded professional who has also worked in public safety, engineering and surveying, and food manufacturing.
Ingrid was recognized by the Nevada Women’s Fund as one of Nevada’s Women of Achievement in 1996 and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management as well as the National Academy of Engineering. She has also served on the board for Boys and Girls Club and has been active in Relay for Life.
Ingrid enjoys spending time with her family, music, traveling, and cruising around the world.
Araceli Ceballos is the HR Business Partner for Bently
Araceli has been with the Bently family of companies since December 2015. She joined Bently as the HR Assistant in order to create an HR presence in the Minden, NV office. Throughout her career at Bently, she has moved into different HR roles which has led her to her current role, HR Business Partner. As an HR Business Partner, she is responsible for the complete employee life-cycle, HR technology, and partnering with management in creating HR infrastructure that can be used across Bently.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno and later on earned her Master’s in Business Administration. She also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Araceli enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found traveling (Pre-COVID of course) and spending quality time with friends and family.
