About our Presenter, Dr. Liz Hletko
Dr. Hletko’s approach involves helping people harness their strengths to create lasting and meaningful change in their lives. She uses cognitive behavioral strategies to enhance coping skills and help people grow. Through a collaborative relationship, she helps people define their goals, discover what strategies work for them, and work towards the next phase of their life. Plus, she thinks everyone needs to have a sense of humor and brings this attitude to her work.
Dr. Hletko specializes in anxiety and its related conditions, and has particular training in OCD and tic disorders
Sometimes it might seem like you’re lost in the alphabet soup of therapy. Yes, she does CBT and ERP for OCD. But interventions aren’t as meaningful as feeling like a therapist understands and appreciates your struggles and helps you find a way to overcome your fears.
